Comments
Comments: Headed back up this morning. We have gained 3 more inches of light powdery snow over the last couple days. The snow down low has consolidated a bit, and there are a few very minor areas of ice that are easily navigable. Snow transitions from a few inches of powder over a hard base down low to a deeper and unconsolidated snow pack a bit above the large Brackett Brook crossing. All post holes have been smoothed out of the track. Trail still needs more snowshoe traffic to establish the trench. Note that I join the trail at the Ten Mile Trail (logging road 0.5 from 25A) crossing, so the AT before that to 25A will have not seen traffic in a few days.
