Comments
Comments: As of today, the trail had a snowshoe track that had been churned up by boot traffic with some new loose snow on top. Because of that, and because of drifting at higher elevations (particularly north of Burton Peak), I went with snowshoes round-trip to try and smooth out the base a bit before the incoming snowstorm. This will of course erase the current conditions. After that storm, snowshoes will definitely be needed.

Always a treat to walk this ridge. Nice views from the outlooks and Mt. Monadnock was looking mighty frosty in the distance.
