Comments
Comments: While this trail report will obviously self-destruct tomorrow with snowmageddon I wanted to share a note from today. We wore snowshoes door to door, you could spike up to the alpine zone if you wanted (there are always the two drifty sections working up from the Mizpah Cutoff Junction.

But…remember the end of last winter when the trail got basically snowed in up top in the krummolz and it was really hard to stay on it? It was just about getting back to that point already this morning and we haven’t even had the big storm yet. Couple waist deep drifts and some tough sledding even in snowshoes. The dude in spikes was not having a good time.

So whoever gets in there first post storm, keep it in mind. May the odds be ever in your favor…
