Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Someone pushed back the snowbanks, so there's room for 3-4 vehicles. Snowbanks are 5 feet tall, so you're probably not going to be able to shovel another spot (landowner limits 6 vehicles), and it's not safe to park on the road here.

Comments
Comments: Generally about a foot and a half of powder from the Sunday/Monday storm on top of the existing base. Mt. Prospect Trail was initially decently packed or snowshoe/ski use, but was decreasingly consolidated as one ascends (due to lower mountain local trails peeling off). I broke out a certain local trail, but it's just one set of tracks that aren't consolidated. Noted some fresh ski tracks this evening when I returned to the trailhead.

It'd be foolish and reckless to hit the trails without snowshoes or skis at this point.

New snowfall started around sunset and was starting to accumulate, with temperatures in the teens and dropping.
