Got out this morning to snowshoe in some fresh powder. I sure found it. I went out and back via Shannon's Trail. The first 3/4 of the trail was broken out sort of (ski track for portion) and postholes for 3/4 of the way up. The upper section of Shannon's was pure, deep drifted powder to the junction of the upper link trail then encountered a ski track to the summit towers. I managed to lay down a good snow shoe track and consolidated it the best I could. It was beautiful morning to be out! |
