Comments
Comments: Solo night hike to the west summit and shelter from Hanover. Broke trail through deep light powder most of the way. Someone had also gone up from a different trailhead and broke the shelter loop out before me. Not much base under the snow--even though it was deep, I hit rock now and then. Not much else to report. The trail usually gets a lot of use from the direction of Hanover and should be beaten flat within a few days.
