 | Comments: |
Solo hike by headlamp to the South Peak of Moose Mtn: North Cabin, Fred Harris, AT to summit & AT back to road. North Cabin was moderately packed out by skis and snowshoes. All the other trails (even the obscure side trails) were very minimally packed with some postholing on the AT. Thankfully the cold temps have kept the snow in light powder form, so the postholes weren't a problem. I did a good job of ironing things out, but the snow is still loose and snowshoes would be a good choice for those who follow. |
