The road is plowed to the winter lot but had a light layer of snow over top. Use care as it is slick under the snow. My little car did fine with snow tires. |

HUGE thanks to the WanderingSoules and the 2 skiers who broke this out yesterday. They laid a FABULOUS track. We bare booted the road and put on snowshoes for the rest of the morning. We had some of the best snowshoeing conditions today - it's still pretty soft, especially up high so spikes will be useless and trash the trail. Visibility was pretty terrible above treeline but we both know the trail well so we had no issues navigating. The winds were cold so it was a turn and burn kind of day. Great to run into Chief G and my Number 1 Dance partner, Dana, on the descent. Great day for me and Andrea! |
