Up to lonesome lake there was a bit a powder on the packed out trail - no issues. We stopped in at the hut and asked for conditions on the AT and were told it was probably not packed out. Hut caretaker was very correct! We got about .2 up fishin Jimmy, and it wasn’t broken out but we could see the trail and were going thru about 6-12” of powder at different points - UNTIL we got to some downed trees that seemed impossible to get around and very difficult to go thru, it being -4 we called it a day at the point. Don’t know for sure, but I doubt it’s packed out from the recent storm beyond that. |
