Comments: Another great winter tracing adventure with snowflea and jomama! Out and back up Red Ridge up to the junction with Moat Trail on the Moat ridge. Snowshoes went on once we passed the Diana’s Baths area, and stayed on until back to that spot on descent. “Regular” trailbreaking through 10-15 inches of snow, consistent sections higher up that were knee…hip..waist deep. The Moat ridge didn’t look traveled recently, and there were only a set of bareboot tracks going out toward North Moat from the bottom (at the river crossing) that looked like they turned around - so I’d say North Moat isn’t broken out either. Still lots of powder, so our tracks could be drifted back in if it gets breezy up there.
