Doublehead Ski Trail was a packed highway from skiers!! Used spikes to get the Old Path jct., then snowshoes all the way up and out; Old Path had just one ski track on so breaking trail was the nature of the day; snow maybe mid calf high; New Path had not been broken so it was deep in places; always the great view from S Doublehead!! On the way down lots of glissading and side stepping in spots; saw 2 skiers and 2 snowshoers going up.. |
