Comments
Comments: From the end of plowing, Slippery Brook Road is a groomed snowmobile trail. I skied 3.25 miles to the summer trailhead and the first 0.3 of Mountain Pond Trail, to the fork.

There, I switched to snowshoes (wearing my ski boots) and did the loop counter clockwise. No one had been beyond the split (folks had skied to the west end of the pond). Trail breaking wasn't too bad - anywhere from 4-10" of powder, deeper on the south side of the pond. Really nice views of Doublehead, Sable, and South Baldface!

Had a snack at the shelter and broke out the ramp to the awesome ADA-compliant privy. :) The ski back was fast and fun. Wheeee...!!
