Comments
Comments: Trails were all hard-packed, with minor drifting, many short stretches of torn up snow and some postholes along the edge of the trail, mostly on OBP. Snow cover is impressive, covering all the rocks on Falling Waters and OBP. Franconia Ridge Trail had lots of bare rocks and only a few spots with drifting snow. Overall, nice conditions that accommodated either spikes or snowshoes. All the spots that can sometimes be challenging had good footing today. Two of us wore snowshoes up Falling Waters, spikes elsewhere, and one wore spikes all day.
Just a beautiful day to be on the ridge with Chris and Renee. Nice to see Heidi as well as Adam along the way.
