Used traction the whole way. Snowshoes are important especially from N kinsman to S Kinsman (lots of postholes between the two peaks). Nice packed in trench up until N kinsman then mashed potatoes lbetween the two peaks. Some areas of ice covered by light snow. Snow was knee to thigh deep if you step off trail. |
