Comments
Comments: Our preselected bw route to East Springfield Mt. proved to be useless due to the large scale logging operation.
We walked up Noyes Road to the logging yard and then a short distance on a skidder road to a groomed snomo trail known as Kings Highway.
Followed wide skidder road S all the way to 1950' elevation on bump located NW of peak. Short bw to recognized peak.
Followed the skidder road back down to the snomo trail.
Traveled W on snomo trail to a point NNE of Morgan Pond Mt. Short bw to recognized peak.
Returned via snomo trail and Noyes Road.
Breaking effort - minimal, in 8-12" fluffy snow on a solid base
Grades - all easy
Tree density - none, or wide open woods
