 | Comments: |
Nice days to hike these peaks. A bit of fresh snow, maybe an inch-plus. Trail is mostly packed and even the two bare-booters did no damage but I could see they were back-sliding a bit the first couple of miles. No way would I have bare-booted this hike--snow shoes were my choice with the fresh layer. Encountered one skier coming back on my way up; he said he made it about half way up the slide (I assumed the south slide but didn't ask). The first bit of warm weather is gonna be annoying with all the snow bombs. |
