Comments
Comments: 4 of us went out for my Winter 48 finish/because the other 3 need Owl's Head for their Winter 48. Little to add to the earlier post from today except to note that we were one of the last groups down the mountain. Brutus was definitely getting butt-sledded up, and at a couple of points I went through the loose powder off to the side to get better traction and slow the downward momentum. While tomorrow will be cold (be safe!!!), trail conditions cannot really get any better than they are right now. Not a single posthole the entire way out there, most of the car wash branches have been cleared of snow, snow bridges in great shape....

Sad that the trail will be closed for a few weeks, but good that the trail is getting the repair it really needs.
