Trail was in good shape—a mostly consolidated highway. I wore spikes and got by fine, even in the snow drifts approaching the summit. Saw 5 others today, 3 of which were wearing snowshoes. Beautiful day despite the frigid temps. Forest was calm. Summit was windy and the cold was biting. Clear views of Washington! |
