Comments
Comments: Just the two of us - someone had been on the trail earlier in the week but those tracks had been mostly filled in with new snow. Broke trail - about 6 inches - from the parking lot to the junction. When we arrived at the junction - no one had recently been up Lambert Ridge Trail (at least they didn't make it to the junction) - from the junction the drifts were at least a foot deep - we went about a 1/2 mile breaking trail. With a change in the weather (could feel the wind picking up and temps dropping) - we decided to turnaround. It could have taken another hour or so breaking trail to get to the summit. All in all it was a great day to be out - We'll be back another day to get to the summit
