Our crew started early before the ski trails opened for business. Snowshoes door to door today. There was a faint track here and there up along Wildcat Ridge but for the most part the trail was totally blown in with some pretty impressive drifts. Our crew of 4 broke it out but it's still rough up there due to the amount of snow. The descent down from Wildcat A required care especially on the sidehills where the drifts were deep. Once we got to 19MB there were drifts up high but it quickly transitioned to a pretty packed trail. Spikes could be used down low on that trail but we all elected to keep our snowshoes on because that's just how we roll. |
