Comments
Comments: The Path up to Pierce was a bit soft...snowshoes made it easy going. I saw one hiker headed to Ike so I followed. He was breaking trail through drifts and fir traps. I spent easily over 10 minutes getting myself out of a deep one. I finally caught up with him at the base of the Ike loop and we made our way up to the top. Spent about 10 seconds in the wind before heading back. I would have never undertaken what Jake did...he said he spent a lot of time on his phone since the trail was pretty much hidden. Even with him breaking trail it was still hard seeing tracks with the wind covering up his tracks. Thank you Jake for breaking that out.
