Lollipop stick portion of the trail is well packed. The lollipop loop portion itself was very steep going to either peak. The two of us went up North Peak and across to South and down. On the way over to South we ran into a 30-year old, over 6' tall, and built like a NE Patriots defensive back on snowshoes who traversed like a moose up there. In all we saw three other hikers all wearing snowshoes. With the snow being so dry and the exposure to winds I'm thinking the drifts on the lollipop will remain from day-to-day. |
