So much for the mostly sunny forecast! :D But it did snow throughout the morning so that was its own kind of beauty.
From parking lot to summit, this route had an excellent track but the snow on top was still soft and loose, so snowshoes are the way to go to keep things in good shape. Easy, quick conditions all the way up and down. Beyond the Mt. Potash Trail junction, Downes Brook Trail had been skied but there were no signs of hiker traffic.
Limited views this morning with the falling snow but it was still a good mental and physical wellness walk in the woods. |
