Stayed at the hut after doing then Wildcats in the dark Friday night. Up to Carter Dome was postholed to hell by a group that had no or only some snowshoes. It definitely slowed my travel despite my exhaustion from what I did the day before. Ankle breakers all over. Once past Dome going to Zeta Pass it wasn’t quite as bad. Past Zeta Pass the trail is in great shape, as is Imp. I switched to spikes about halfway down. Saw many out today, all in snowshoes. |
