Comments
Comments: Don’t be fooled, you still need snowshoes on these trails. The trail surface is unconsolidated and all the people wearing just spikes were chewing up the snow even worse. I wore snowshoes from start to finish and they really made it loads easier to walk on the loose surface. If you step off the very center of the trail without snowshoes, you will add another 3 foot deep post hole to the many others.
