Blazes need to be repainted. Additional signage or other navigation cues between the parking lot and the actual start of the trail might be helpful. The view spur is not signed and I only noticed one blaze. |

Thank you to sticky tape and their post from yesterday for putting this hike back on my radar.
As noted in their report, the entire loop has been broken out but snowshoes are still very much needed as nothing is consolidated firmly. The upcoming warmer temps are not going to help with this.
The outlook at the end of the view spur is pretty limited, but the second outlook further down the southern end of the loop is nice, with a view over the village of Waterville Valley. |
