 | Comments: |
Livermore Trail is groomed, hard as a rock, and was actually unpleasant with snowshoes (that the signs insist on to protect the groomed surface). After 2 miles, the groomed section ends, and the trail to where Scaur Ridge Trail splits off is well packed. Scaur looked like I was only the second person in a week to go up there; pretty loose powder, so snowshoes sre an absolute need. Pine Bend and the ridge are very well packed down, with some smooth areas from buttsliding, so grippy snowshoes with heel lifts still help. |
