Comments
Comments: I bare booted the road walk. There was fresh snow however snow shoes were not needed. 1.2 miles in on Garfield Ridge Trail my snow shoes went on as it was the most efficient means for travel. There was fresh snow and no signs of yesterday's hikers. Ilse had been out yesterday breaking the trail out but everything was covered with fresh snow and lots of wind drifts at higher elevations. I was the only one out there today. Beautiful moody views were had. Snow shoes will definitely be needed.
