A few inches of snow overnight necessitated the snowshoes today. All hikers I saw out were in snowshoes, creating a nice track. Thanks to the two in front who have had quite the week of crushing peaks for breaking trail this morning. Fresh snow in the trees was melting by the afternoon. Expect some snow balling on your snowshoes with the warmer temps. |
