 | Comments: |
Quite the swing in weather - cold and snowy morning transitioning to warm spring weather with temperatures topping 50 degrees. By late this afternoon, even snowshoes were sinking into previously packed trail slightly. Someone attempted to Microspike, but turned around a few tenths in after postholing. No recent non-ski traffic from the view ledge to the summit. Snowshoes generally floated well. Overall, 1" to 4" of new snow from last night's storm still remains as of sunset this evening.
With the forecast warm daytime temperatures, snowshoes will be the way to go for the foreseeable future. |
