Comments
Comments: Trail is wet, soft, mashed potato snow with plenty of slush. Microspikes ok for first 1.5 miles, then snowshoes to avoid postholes. So so many postholes to navigate around. Sinking in the snow up to my knee on trail and deeper if you step off trail. Bare rock and ice. Puddles and slush so deep I thought I was going to lose a snowshoe. At times it felt like breaking trail. Major slush fest!
