Comments
Comments: Snowshoes are the ONLY option at this point. Any deviation from the established treadway results in post holing even in snow shoes. Snow was spring snow so no balling up. Shorts and T shirt on March 10 was a treat. Still a lot of snow and only a few rocks visible even on the steeps. Last set of steeps had some ice and bare rocks but were still easily navigated with snowshoes. Trail was broken out to the downhill view and around to the ledge view. Walden trail was broken out also. Trail is still in good shape and if we get a freeze will still be a highway for spikes. Fantastic day picking this one off.
