Snow bridges gone in a couple of spots, but water low enough to allow for rock hopping. |

If you're 5 1/2 feet tall or less, you're good. A couple of small leaning trees across the trail in one or two spots |

It was a TOUGH day! Windy and cold and then rain! I last did these four years ago in similar conditions, but in April, so had to do them again for winter credit. Definitely type 2 fun! It's such a gradual incline in the beginning few miles, but you know you're doing to have to get that elevation eventually! That last 1/4 mile or so to North Hancock is a punch in the face! :P The rail between North and South Hancock is a mess! So narrow and easy to slide off it in to yet another posthole! Ugh! It's done! |
