Comments
Comments: Typical Spring conditions throughout the hike today! Be prepared with all gear, including snowshoes and spikes. There's a bit of tricky ice heading up the last pitch before turning towards Morgan's peak and heading down from Percival's peak. Otherwise you'll find soft and sticky snow, crusty ice, running water on trail, wet leaves, and even some dry bare trail...a mix of everything. The weather held out and although it took me longer than usual to navigate due to the conditions, it was a fun hike with great views of Squam Lake. You can check out photos on the 52WAV Facebook group.
