Comments
Comments: went up Blue trail (mt major trail) which had about 1 inch of frozen slush/ice stuff which wasn't too slippery today and then gradually transitions to a bit deeper snow with some ice under it but nothing too bad. Snow seems pretty solid so if you stay on the trail minimal post holing. Orange trail (boulder trail) had a lot less snow and ice, microspikes still helped but interesting the contrast. Bit more snow further down on that trail though, but once again all solid. Also some flowing water mid way down the orange trail but nothing bad. I'd expect these conditions to change significantly with the rain coming Monday.
