Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Only notable water crossing is at the beginning of Iso Express bushwhack, very easy to cross right now. A bit tricky to get down to the water, and back up after crossing it on the way out - you have to go up a snow-covered boulder with nothing to grab onto

Comments: Beautiful day on Isolation. First few miles of the trail are very packed down. Wore microspikes for first 3.5 miles, until I postholed in the center of the trail, so I switched to snowshoes which was the right call. Both bushwhacks were easy to follow. Met a nice group of 3 at the summit (Heather, Stephanie, Mark?) who inspired me by sharing that they're working on their second grid. Spikes could have been fine for the descent, especially starting in the spot where I originally switched to snowshoes, but I was too lazy to switch back so kept the snowshoes on the whole way down. Not too many postholes on the side of the trail, compared to other trails I've seen this season.
About 1.5 from the trailhead, I saw 2 ambitious guys on fat tire bikes coming up the trail. Kudos to you guys..?
