Comments
Comments: The trail up to Mount Whiteface was easy to follow the whole way. The packed rail got narrow like a monorail was forming at a few points, but the couple inches of fresh snow on top made it difficult to see at a few points. Some large postholes (including snowshoe ones) from last weekend made things a little tricky at some points, but mostly avoidable. The Whiteface ledges were icy and made things tricky, but passable with some care. Rollins Trail had a few smaller blowdowns that I cleared, and a couple of overhangs which I left alone for fear of making them worse. Clear sailing up to Passaconaway from the col, and then Dicey's Mill Trail was a highway.
