Well what a difference from today and yesterday on the carters. We put on snowshoes .4 miles in and left them on until the road. It was like walking in sand, no clue why anyone would choose spike or bareboot route as it was so much extra work. The ridge just had 8” of fresh snow with post holes from prior people. I quick enjoy my foot going down hill and angled off to about breaking, but people don’t think. Whichever, North slide no one butt slid, but south slide-butt sliding on ice chunks not my cup of tea… Monkey used k-10’s down it and I used snowshoes. Only 10 people out today. March is done, see ya in May! |
