Comments
Comments: Very firm conditions the whole way, some old postholes to navigate, but overall, the Kinsmans are easy to do in light traction or traction - I did it all in microspikes and the only other person I saw was in mountaineering crampons. There are a few icy spots and a couple of impressive ice flows, but all can be skirted around the edges with care.

Quiet day out on the trails, cold but comfortable up high with a little wind blowing on the summits. Good views of Franconia Ridge. The dog had a blast, lots of sticks lying on the ground to keep him entertained!
