Comments
Comments: Spring is here, at least for a few more hours. This section of the Belknaps was in a snow shadow earlier this winter and then was hit by the early winter thaw more so than other parts of the range, so it's melted out faster.

Mt. Rowe Trail up to the water crossing only had a few small patches of ice that one could bareboot across/around.

Yellow Trail was bare until maybe a tenth before the woods road, then there was ice monorail and some ice. I was able to bareboot with care, but some may prefer light traction.

Back to mostly bare ground from the Mt. Rowe Trail to the Ridge Trail to the summit, with only a few patches of snow/ice. Some minor mud and running water.

Outside chance snowshoes could be needed again if the high end of snow forecast comes to fruition.

Sunny afternoon with temperatures in the 30s.
