 | Comments: |
Great snowpack and was able to bare-boot up to the falls after the rain-freeze on Thursday. Crampons were used near Cloudland falls but a bit overkill and definitely useful on the summit of Haystack. Decided to turn around before Lincoln due to wind. Past the falls on the way up was slower moving with less consolidated snow but no postholing or degradation of snowpack! Snowshoes were brought but never used. Great day out there |
