 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Rant: I don’t have a problem if you keep your dog(s) off-leash as long as they’re a) responsive and b) you clean up after them. There are numerous reasons to do both, some having to do with other dogs, some having to do with native flora and fauna, and some having to do with basic decency. Please control your dog(s) and clean up after them. I’m not sure why this is such a hard concept for some people. |

 | Comments: |
We actually barebooted the whole way, though there were a couple of sections where spikes might have made things a little easier. The majority of the trail was actually snow and ice free, and was completely dry. The snow and ice was confined to a few shady stretches. |
