Dog-Related Notes: Lots of running water. The standard approach to the summit rock on the Horn will be difficult for most dogs. Grete uses a somewhat obscure small path that runs behind the cone {northwest side) for easier access to the top.

Comments
Comments: 3-4 inches of recent snow up high. A real nice day to hike with cool temperatures to start and brisk wind. Met a pair of young men doing the loop in the opposite direction at the Horn summit who were impressed with the views.
