Comments: We started out in blowing snow with temps below freezing.. firm trail up to Tom and across to Field..the traverse to Willey had a monorail inches wide in places with a good 3-4’ fall if you misjudged your step (we did not).. the descent down Avalon was quick with a few fresh inches of snow over a few icy spots… trails were softening up down low at noon.. better conditions than expected
