Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Did not cross Little River today, only the minor streams that cross the trail, all easy. Little River was flowing fast and noisy but not overly high.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Branchy prickly, spruce blowdown about 1/2 mile below the summit. A herd path is forming off trail. Largest diameter trunk piece is about 8”. A bit has been de-limbed but it’s all still smack dab in the trail.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Took mine today she had a blast and got filthy and smelly. Plenty of water along the trail currently, even up Firewarden’s.
Bugs
Bugs: Some scouts and one black fly got in my car back at 7 Dwarves.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: One Kahtoola microspike size medium, left at trailhead kiosk. One full dog poop bag, also packed out to kiosk. PEOPLE just flick your dog turds off trail instead of putting in a plastic bag and leaving for the non-existent Poop Fairy to retrieve! Gross. Leave no trace!

Comments
Comments: Bare/wet/dry until 3,600 feet. Intermittent patches of flat ice 3,600’ to 3,800. 3,800’ to summit (~4/10ths of a mile) is pretty continuous varied heights of stable monorail, just a couple of short bare spots.
