tl;dr no need for pointy things
The first patches of packed down ice (not sure I'd even call it monorail at this point) appear just after the final water crossing, just below the lookout over the ski trail. From there to the top, there are very occasional, very short patches of packed down ice. The longest one is probably 20 feet long or so, and all are very easy to hop around on the rocks that prominently stick up through what's left of the monorail. No views at the top due to the clouds/rain midday, but a nice way to get out on an easy hike nonetheless. |
