Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Maybe 5-6 blowdowns of varying sizes and heights. The intersection at the Gateway with King Ravine still needs a real sign.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Jackson stayed home, he didn’t want to mess up his pedicure on those pointy a-hole northern Presi rocks.
Bugs
Bugs: If a bug wanted to land on me, if would have to do some serious planning in 30-40mph wind.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a black diamond pole, not damaged but had probably been there since winter. It’s at the trailhead sign, I’ll post a pic in the lost & found site.

Comments
Comments: Fun day catching up with Adina and Angela. Winds were brisk up above treeline. We can officially declare ice out on Airline. There’s nothing left, monorail or otherwise. None of us had the desire to see if it was the same story on Valley Way, so we went out and back Airline.

Side notes: can still see the “7” in King Ravine so Great Gully still needs some time. The Jefferson Snowfield looked alive and well from afar.
