 | Comments: |
I brought spikes, but never put them on. saw 1 group that used them for the disintergrating lengths of monorail just below and above shining rock on FW. To use them, depends on your comfort level. If I had descended this way, I probably would've put them on. Ridge is clear. Greenleaf and OBP are nearly 'ice out'. I hadn't done the loop in awhile, so I admired and appreciated all the trail work that has happened on FW and OBP. chatted with the woman who works as a steward with the FS on the ridge. Another nice job up there with creating a defined path. Walked out the last mile or so with two friendly hikers and enjoyed their company. I was sorry to miss the dinosaur performance on the ridge. ;) |
