Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Used log over the river.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All water bars on the Dicey’s Mill trail were cleaned by WODC last weekend. A stretch of this trail before the river crossing has some wet areas with standing water. This was my first time observing new stone stairs completed by a professional trail building crew in the last few years. I counted about 50 new stone stair sections. Very impressive.

Bugs
Bugs: Cool temperatures in the upper 50s and a slight breeze kept bugs away. Did see a few in the parking lot at the end of the hike.
