Bone dry trail. Not even a hint of mud anywhere! |

A few minor blowdowns, trail is in good shape |

My leashed dog had a blast. There are 2 scramble spots right before the summit of Owl’s Head that are worth noting. My husky did it but it’s a little challenging. |

Brought a bug net and didn’t use it. Bug spray seemed to be enough but I swatted a few on the way down, way less buggy than I planned for. |

Only encountered a few friendly people on the nicest day of MDW so this hike is a hidden gem. |
